Hi, I’m Dana.

My name is Dana, and I help women with ADHD and HSP keep doubt and shame from defining their lives.

Together, we reframe childhood memories into a clearer picture of their unique strengths, priorities, and inspiration.

If you are here, you are probably already overwhelmed from sacrificing sleep, quality family time, yoga sessions, and just plain down time for meeting work deadlines by the skin of your teeth.  You’ve probably been overwhelmed even more by the process of finding a therapist.  My hope is that you will get a feel for who I am and how I work by reading this page.

Clients who have the best success with me feel and love deeply, they give all they have to each and every work project.  Everything about them is intense. Sometimes this can be overwhelming to others, but the effort of trying to keep the intensity inside starts to overwhelm them.

If this is you, you’re wanting a therapist who actually
gets where you’re coming from and can help you keep work from dominating your existence, not to mention address the past so it too can loosen it’s grasp, leaving you free to embrace the now rather than sucking you backwards while others drift away from you into the future.

I want you to know that you
can be a badass at work and still get to have a blast with your family and friends after hours.  Sometimes it feels like no one understands how intensely you feel this way, but I want you to know ….

You are enough here.

I’m passionate about working with women who have or strongly suspect they have ADHD and or HSP related trauma because I’ve been there.  As a woman who is diagnosed with ADHD and has experienced intense emotional blows as a result, I can relate to what you are experiencing, and I know how much it can suck.

We all have soo much beauty to add to this world. All we need is definition for our uniquely shaped lane of sustainability for it to flow its brightest and strongest possible.

What it’s like working with me:

Therapy with me is like having a zoom meeting with a dear friend.  There is a freedom of expression complete with connection, humor, lightness, challenge, and hope. I have been told I have a self-identifying laugh and an uncanny ability to engage you with your unique strengths, supports, and inner experience.

I’m obsessed with a bottom up approach, which means directly addressing sensations in the body through Yoga and Somatic influences that tell the body it is okay to relax and become safely curious.

Another obsession of mine is finding meaning from the past to put toward an even better future.  Sessions with me are often full of creative and improvisational journeys that include imagination and all five senses, called EMDR (Click here for more information) . I’m not afraid to offer opportunities for yelling, punching, and kicking when necessary. All emotions, no matter how intense, are always welcome.

During these imaginative journeys, I also weave in yoga techniques to enhance awareness and capitalize your innate strengths, as I’m also a registered yoga teacher .

The end of each session involves a ritual of releasing the unhelpful or unneeded, making space for hope to spread wider in whatever way it is called to show up in your life.   Each session ends with you naming your own take away from our time together, which you’re free to meditate on throughout the week.

What I want you to gain from therapy with me:

  •   Nonjudgmental and compassionate witness of your own self

  •     Intimate connection with and embodiment of your unique strengths

  •    Trust that beauty awaits in each and every emotion

  • Bravery to explore emotions with all senses

  •      Recognize and execute choices, like boundaries, no matter what.

  •     Plan your ideal schedule according to your unique energy levels.
